DI Adds Another Veteran to Its Leadership Team
Jeff Cohen to Serve as Senior Strategist and Counselor
Direct Impact (DI), a leading national grassroots public affairs, public education and corporate reputation firm, today announced the addition of Jeff Cohen as Executive Vice President. Cohen previously served as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL), and has held positions for a wide variety of public and private sector entities in addition to his political work. As Executive Vice President, Cohen will provide senior counsel for clients and he will serve as a senior leader on the company’s new business development team.
Cohen has extensive experience developing and implementing integrated communications strategies and programs that build, enhance, promote and protect reputations, images and brands. His expertise ranges from strategic positioning and messaging to issue and crisis management to media and industry relations.

Prior to working for Congressman Mack, Cohen worked in a variety of public relations and management positions, including as Director of Marketing for a fabless semiconductor start-up company; Vice President/Group Manager of Ketchum Public Relations; Director of Strategic Communications for Infotech Strategies; and, Public Relations Manager for a wireless telecommunications industry trade association. Cohen also served as Press Secretary to former U.S. Senator Connie Mack III (R-FL) and as Executive Director (Florida) for the Dole/Kemp presidential campaign in 1996.
