As we reflect on an interesting 2016 and the effective, yet often challenging, work we have done for our clients, it is fitting our CEO, Connie Partoyan, has been recognized by PR News as one of their Top Women in PR. For those who know or have worked with Connie, you will agree that this is a well-deserved honor. Since joining Direct Impact in 2009, Connie has successfully helped grow our firm, but has also mastered the balance of motivating and supporting staff while maximizing results for clients.

Leading major accounts for both Direct Impact and our parent company, Burson-Marsteller, she manages large teams to support the communications and business objectives of Fortune 500 companies, campaigns that have influenced major legislation and regulation and spearheaded successful multi-market reputation campaigns.

Connie knows how to win and get things done. Perhaps more importantly, when pressure and tensions run high, as they often do with such critical work, Connie is always the voice of reason and reassurance. She always has the right words to get clients and her colleagues through strained situations. From her clients to the staff she manages, Connie’s upbeat attitude and approach to her work makes her recognition by PR News spot on.

Connie’s positivity, get-it-done/problem solving attitude and genuine care for others sets her apart from her peers. With women like Connie in leadership, the PR world is stronger and we are all thrilled to be here with her.

Connie will be recognized with the other honorees on January 24 at the PR News’ Top Women in PR event. Read more about why PR News selected Connie as well as the other honorees here.
