Corine Greiner is VicePresident at Direct Impact, the grassroots arm of Burson. A seasoned political manager and strategicthought partner with 15 years of experience in Washington, D.C., Corinespecializes in public policy and advocacy, strategic planning, communications, donor relations, campaignstrategy, and operational and event management; specifically in times oforganizational crisis, growth, and change.
Bringing a diverse and unique set of skills to the Direct Impact team, Corine’s extensive experience includes two stints on Capitol Hill: first with Congressman Blumenauer (OR-3) and most recently with Senator Jon Tester (D-MT). In-between her time in Congress, Corine expanded her skillset by supporting the President and CEO at The Humane Society of the United States (aka Humane World for Animals) and the Chairman of The Podesta Group during the 2016 presidential election cycle.
Originally from Orland Park, a southwest suburb of Chicago, Corine had her first experience in grassroots campaigning and organizing while volunteering for a county commissioner race in her hometown after her college graduation. Corine received a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and Political Science at Illinois State University and a Master of Professional Studies in Political Management at The George Washington University. After 14 years living in D.C., Corine moved just outside of the city limits to Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband, Chris, and their rescue dog, Rudy.
