Mara Vaknin is an Assistant Account Executive on Burson’s Direct Impact team. She is a native Floridian and a recent graduate of the University of Florida, where she studied public relations and political science.  

Her previous experiences in both the private and public sectors have equipped her with a unique set of skills in strategic communications and public affairs. Mara is extremely passionate about helping clients connect with their audiences through purposeful initiatives and effective storytelling. She is particularly excited to help clients do this on the local level through her work with Direct Impact.  

As a new resident of Washington D.C., Mara loves to spend her free time going for long walks by the national monuments and exploring local restaurants with her friends and family.
